Le Lac des Reves 4-star campsite combines the best of a countryside getaway and a city break. This spacious holiday park overlooks the beautiful nature reserve of Pérol lake, and yet it is less than a 30 minute drive to the historic city centre of Montpellier and its picturesque medieval streets. For more day trips, you can head to brilliant Languedoc beaches and to the Camargue national park, home to flamingos and wild horses.

Lifeguarded pool complex

With a stunning view of the Pérols lake, the Lac des Rêves pool complex offers lots of fun with two heated outdoor pools, a paddling pool for for the little ones, a toboggan and four slides. The pools are fully lifeguarded at all times.

Activities and entertainment on park

The entertainment team is on hand from morning to evening to offer a full programme of sports and activities. Dip in and out as you like; perhaps a spot of yoga or dance in the morning to team games such as football, basketball or water polo in the afternoon. Many activities are free to join, or there are small extra charges for activities such as archery and mini golf.

Places to visit near campsite Le Lac des Rêves****

This holiday park on the Mediterranean coast is nicely situated within 7 km of some stunning Languedoc beaches. Head to Palavas les Flots for some great watersports, and for beach days spend the day relaxing at the lively resort of La Grand Motte or perhaps the nearby Petit Travers beach if you want somewhere less busy. To discover the Hérault, head for the Petite Camargue, Montpellier, Sète, the Hérault gorges or even Nîmes and its famous Roman arenas. Fun activities are canoeing on the Herault and days out at Cap D'agde for the Aqua Land and Aqua Parc.

La Petite Camargue Nature Reserve

The 'little Camargue' is a popular nature reserve which extends over 50,000 hectares, famous for flamingos and wild horses plus watch out for the bulls and swamps!
The Roman city of Nîmes

Head inland to one of the most attractive towns in Mediterranean France. The city was established by the Romans and has one of the best collections of Roman remains in France. After seeing the Roman remains, walk to the old town and its gardens, and enjoy something to eat and drink in one of the many fine cafes and restaurants.
Montpellier

It's easy to spend a day visiting the city of Montpellier. The Place de la Comédie is at the heart of Montpellier - a broad plaza that runs between the old opera hall at one end and the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle at the other. It is lined on each side by quaint cafés and fast-food outlets, but is also the venue for the local market. Plus it's a great place for a little retail therapy.
The Hérault Gorges

Only 3 kilometers from Saint Guilhem le Désert, about an hours drive from the holiday park, you'll discover the Hérault gorges. Take a picnic and hike, canoe and swim, and explore medieval villages. It all adds up to a brilliantly relaxing day!
